Ariana Doces

About

A kitchen built around a daily limit.

Ariana Doces began the way most confectionery businesses begin — one person, a marble slab, and orders from people who had tasted something at a birthday. What changed was the decision not to grow past the point where the process on this site stops being true.

What we make

Filled bonbons, caramels, pâte de fruit, drinking chocolate, and celebration cakes to order. The assortment is deliberately narrow. Each family has a reason to exist: bonbons for gifting, caramels because they travel well, fruit squares because they use what is ripe, and cakes because that is what people ask for when there is a date attached.

How we work

Every morning we set the number of boxes the day can hold and we stop there. Orders beyond that move to the next dispatch date rather than being squeezed in. It is a slower business than it could be, and it is the reason we can describe the process publicly without hedging.

What we will not claim

We do not publish awards we have not won, counts of customers we have not audited, or reviews we cannot attribute. Everything stated on this site is either a fact about the company or a description of a process you can hold us to. If we get something wrong — a late box, a piece that arrived out of temper — the remedy is to remake it, not to argue about it.

Ordering, in practice

  • Retail boxes are made within three business days.
  • Celebration cakes need seven days’ notice, and the sponge and filling are chosen by reply to your confirmation email.
  • Corporate and event orders of thirty boxes and above are quoted individually, in writing, with a committed delivery date.
  • Prices on this site are in United States dollars.

Small batch, on purpose

We cap what we make in a day. It bounds how much we can sell, and it is the only way the tempering and the resting stay honest.

Short ingredient lists

Cream, butter, sugar, fruit, couverture. If a piece needs a stabiliser to survive the trip, we redesign the piece instead of adding the stabiliser.

Say what is in the box

Every listing states the count, the size, and what rotates. Allergen information travels with the order and is printed on the box.

Answer quickly

Orders and questions are answered by the same small team that makes the sweets, usually within one business day.
